👋 Hi, I’m Viorica and I warmly welcome you to this Heart-Opening Hatha and Compassion Circle!
This class:
- blends the restorative physical restoration of Hatha Yoga with the gentle resilience and emotional support of compassion practices for self and others.
- nourishes the body, soothes the mind, and cultivates self-acceptance.
- deepens emotional awareness, reduces anxiety, and builds emotional regulation skills by training your ability to meet difficulty with kindness.

Your Journey Through the Session:
Part 1: Heart-Opening Hatha Practice (60 minutes)
Step onto your mat and into a space of gentle self-acceptance. We will move through a mindful sequence of poses designed to gently open the chest, shoulders, and front body—areas where tension often holds us back from full openness. We will combine steady breath with movement, offering modifications for all levels, so please honor your body and practice at your own pace. This is an invitation to cultivate self-care, self-love, and a deeper sense of openness within.
- breathwork (pranayama) — to soothe the nervous system and release tension
- brief meditation — for grounding, presence, and immediate self-care
- intention-setting — to clarify your focus for what you wish to cultivate
- asana practice (Hatha) — to open the heart, build strength, and increase flexibility
- savasana (total relaxation) — to integrate all benefits and prepare the mind for reflection
Part 2: The Compassion Circle (20 Minutes)
Nurturing the Self: Mindful Compassion and Resilience
After a peaceful transition guided by deep relaxation and sound, we gently move into the Compassion Circle. Here, we utilize the grounded state achieved on the mat to approach difficult emotions, thoughts, or sensations that may have arisen during your day or practice. This is an invitation to meet yourself exactly where you are, with kindness.
This is a safe, non-judgmental space dedicated to practicing the skill of self-compassion, leading to greater emotional freedom and deep inner connection.

Note on Holidays & Travel:
- There will be no class on Dec 30th, 2025.
- Please note that the last classes before our instructor’s break are January 6th & 7th, as the instructor will be traveling between January 13th and April 1st.

After 12 years in Asia, I moved back to Romania and decided to make Bucharest my home. While working as a teacher in China and Thailand, I came in contact with mindfulness life coaching, the Zen Buddhist teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, and various forms of yoga and sound healing. Having experienced and witnessed the effects of stress and burnout among educators and other professionals, I decided to change paths and dedicate my work to well-being and self-care. I bring with me a love of mindfulness, yoga, and a deep desire to create safe spaces for others to integrate self-care into their lives and thrive. My intention for my life is to live with joy and ease, listen to my heart, and cultivate love every day. I love dancing (salsa, bachata, kizomba), genuine human connection, and playing badminton and ping-pong just for fun. I’m looking forward to connecting with you.
