Buna!

My name is Jacob, born in Sweden but residing in Bucharest since a year and a half. People I meet in Bucharest are usually surprised that I’m here. There is no reason to be surprised. Romania is a wonderful place in many ways, that you as a Romanian should be proud of (at least in my opintion).

Anyway, I ended up in here since I was working as a digital nomad and was curious about Romania. After a month, I had a dramatic Kundalini-awakening that put me in the hospital for a week (in the cardiology section of Spitalul Clinic de Urgenta Floreasca) with mysterious symptoms the doctors couldn’t explain. In my hospital bed I had visions, and I also had the totally overwelming experience of divine unconditional love. After a week of testing the doctors had to give up and let me go.

When I left, it felt as if I left a church – so I guess the hospital became a holy place for me. This happened only a few weeks after taking Reiki attunements (energy upgrades) for Level 1 and Level 2, so I guess they were pretty powerful.

Before I ended up in Romania I sold everything I owned and lived in a zen monastery for a year. There I did rigorous zen training and went to a lot of silent retreats with up to 9 hours meditation every day for 7 days. In total I have done about 70 of those during the last 13 years, which explains the touch of zen buddhist themes in my guided meditations.

I’m also the writer of three published books. My fascination with storytelling complements my guided Reiki meditations since they are in part spiritual short stories/journeys fuelled by zen wisdom and Reiki energy.
