Daria și Matthew sunt compozitori, vocaliști, muzicieni și terapeuti. Stilul lor este o combinatie perfecta intre Americana si influente spirituale, care transcende în mod natural separarea dintre fizic și spirit. Arta lor promovează armonia prin cântece cu vibrații înalte, dezvaluind frumusețea și dragostea care ne conectează pe noi toți.

Muzica lor isi trage seva din povești fascinante de viață:
* Matthew a crescut în East End din Londra, la fel ca mulți muzicieni de renume mondial, precum Thin Lizzy, Fleetwood Mac, Sparks, The Small Faces etc. Apartamentul părinților săi a fost mereu plin de muzicieni, artiști și de irlandezi rătăcitori care încercau să viseze mare. Tatăl său, cunoscut sub numele de Brush Shiels, a fost membru al uneia dintre primele trupe de heavy rock – SKID ROW – care a venit din Irlanda și care a cântat pe scena muzicală mondială alături de mulți dintre cei mai mari artisti rock. Muzica a însemnat totul pentru Matthew. S-a alăturat trupei tatălui său la vârsta de 14 ani. De-a lungul anilor a cântat cu multe trupe și a avut și propria sa formație.

*Daria a crescut in curtea unui spital de psihiatrie din Polonia, unde a avut o copilărie fericită, explorând minunile vieții fără prea multă supraveghere din partea adultilor. Aici a început să-și pună întrebări despre rolul medicamentelor și despre modalitățile de a susține sănătatea în mod natural. Daria și-a petrecut anii de școală studiind științele nutriționale și terapia fizică, cultivându-și, în același timp, pasiunea pentru teatru și muzică. După facultate, a decis să se mute în Irlanda, unde a deschis o sală de terapie holistică si unde și-a întâlnit soțul.

După ce s-au cunoscut în 2008 și au decis să se căsătorească în timpul primei lor întâlniri, Daria și Matthew au petrecut mulți ani calatorind si concentrându-și multă energie pe cunoașterea de sine, petrecând timp în meditație profundă și descoperind binecuvântările plantelor sacre, ale ceremoniei și comunității. Atât Matthew, cât și Daria au primit multe cântece pe care le împărtășesc în cercuri si ceremonii din întreaga lume. In prezent locuiesc in Irlanda si aceasta este prima lor vizita in Romania.

Daria & Matthew are songwriters, vocalists, musicians and natural healers. Their seamless blend of Americana & spiritual roots medicine music transports the listeners to a place where they can naturally transcend the separation between the physical and spirit. Their music promotes harmony through high vibration songs and reveals the beauty and love that connect us all.

Daria & Matthew’s art unfolds from their fascinating life stories:
* Matthew grew up in East End of London as did so many world-renowned musicians like Thin Lizzy, Fleetwood Mac, Sparks, The Small Faces and many more. His parents’ flat was always packed with musicians, artists and stragglers from Ireland trying to dream big. His father, known as Brush Shiels, was a member of one of the first heavy rock bands – SKID ROW – that came out of Ireland and performed on the World music stage alongside many greats. Music meant everything to Matthew. He joined his father’s band at age 14. Over the years he played with many bands and also had his own band.

* Daria grew upon the grounds of a Psychiatric hospital in Poland, where she actually had a happy childhood, exploring the wonders of life without much supervision. Here she started wondering about the role of medication and ways of supporting health naturally. Daria spent her school years studying nutritional sciences and physical therapy, while also cultivating her passion for theater and music. After University, she decided to move to Ireland, where she was running a holistic therapy room when she met her husband.
After meeting in 2008 and deciding to get married during their first date, Daria and Matthew spent many years focusing a lot of energy on self-knowledge, spending time in deep meditation and discovering the blessings of sacred medicines, ceremony and community. Both Matthew and Daria received many songs and have been sharing them in song circles around the world. At present they live in Ireland. And it is theit first visit to Romania.
