Stretching Class by KSYBUENO – cu Oksana

Stretching refers to a practice of elongating a muscle or muscle group to its fullest length. Though we may not realize it, stretching is actually a natural, instinctive behavior. Upon waking, most of us will instinctively reach our arms overhead and stretch from fingers to toes. Our body naturally craves a “stretch” after long periods of sitting or inactivity. This natural instinct is your body’s way of telling you that stretching is good.

Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.

1. Increases your flexibility
Regular stretching can help increase your flexibility, which is crucial for your overall health. Not only can improved flexibility help you to perform everyday activities with relative ease, but it can also help delay the reduced mobility that can come with aging.

2. Increases your range of motion
Being able to move a joint through its full range of motion gives you more freedom of movement. Stretching on a regular basis can help increase your range of motion.

3. Improves your performance in physical activities
Performing dynamic stretches prior to physical activities has been shown to help prepare your muscles for the activity. It may also help improve your performance in an athletic event or exercise.

4. Increases blood flow to your muscles
Performing stretches on a regular basis may improve your circulation. Improved circulation increases blood flow to your muscles, which can shorten your recovery time and reduce muscles soreness.

5.Helps to heal and prevent back pain
Tight muscles can lead to a decrease in your range of motion. When this happens, you increase the likelihood of straining the muscles in your back. Stretching can help heal an existing back injury by stretching the muscles.
A regular stretching routine can also help prevent future back pain by strengthening your back muscles and reducing your risk for muscle strain.

When you’re experiencing stress, there’s a good chance your muscles are tense. That’s because your muscles tend to tighten up in response to physical and emotional stress. Focus on areas of your body where you tend to hold your stress, such as your neck, shoulders and upper back.

Participating in a regular stretching program not only helps increase your flexibility, but it can also calm your mind. While you stretch, focus on mindfulness and meditation exercises, which give your mind a mental break.

Tension and stress headaches can interfere with your daily life. In addition to a proper diet, adequate hydration, and plenty of rest, stretching may help reduce the tension you feel from headaches.

Sambodhi Yoga este un loc cu oameni primitori, mereu gata sa te ajute si informeze, cursurile sunt de o larga varietate si locul in sine este magic, asa cum ma asteptam. Ma bucura faptul ca am gasit un loc unde yoga nu este doar un exercitiu fizic ci in primul rand o ocazie de conectare cu noi insine. Multumesc!

O experienta placuta si relaxanta de fiecare data cu Laura. Saptamana incepe mai productiv dupa o seara de luni urmand ghidarea Laurei. Si sala contribuie si ea la relaxare cu decorul cu luminite si inspiratie din natura. Multumesc

Sambodhi Yoga Studio este un loc special in care vei uita de problemele de acasa. Atmosfera primitoare, instructori bine pregatiti si cu energie pozitiva. Va recomand cu mare drag acest loc minunat!

Este un loc cu o energie extraordina si pura! Instructorii sunt minunati si au clase versatile, pentru toata lumea. Locul arata impecabil, foarte curat si dupa fiecare sedinta ma simt de parca plutesc pe un norisor, atat fizic cat si mental 😊. Recomand 100%!

Un loc magic ✨ inspirat din natură în centrul orașului. O comunitate de oameni minunați care pun multă pasiune și iubire în ceea ce fac. Clase de Yoga adaptate pentru orice nivel și disponibilitate, pentru cei matinali sunt clase de dimineață iar cei cu ziua mai plină se pot relaxa seara după agitația de peste zi. Workshop-uri și ritualuri, meditație samanică, constelații, locul in care indiferent cine ești, poți doar sa fii, sigur îți vei găsi tribul și o activitate cu care vei rezona și îți va umple sufletul. O lume mai mica in lumea asta mare și agitată, plină de iubire și armonie creată de un om minunat. Întoarce-te la tine, la natura ta, onoreaza-ți mintea, trupul și sufletul. Namaste ✨
